In response to a public record request about the attendance for NREPWA Hands Full event on August 30th, the Freedom of Information office for the Newbridge Civic Centre responded today:

“The actual numbers registered entering [Newbridge] VFW through the turnstiles was 32 – this is reflective of what attended on the night and not the total number of tickets sold or no-shows etc.”

NREPWA announced the paid attendance for the event was a healthy 150, and called it a new record for independent pro wrestling in the Newbridge area.

The final estimate from WrestlingTicks of tickets distributed for Hands Full was 150.

However many of the tickets distributed were given out free of charge in a last minute effort to fill out the VFW hall. The promoter Rip Kern vehemently refused to comment on the matter of his announcing 150 people in attendance.
